INTRODUCTION Foreign policy is the relation between the states. â€Å"Foreign policy is an activity of the state with which it fulfils its aims and interests within the international arena† (PatriÄ , 2013, p. 1). Foreign policy has many definitions by the other scholar. According to Laura Neack, which is cited from Charles Herman,(n.d), he mentioned foreign policy as, â€Å"The discrete purposeful action that results from the political level decision of an individual or group of individuals†¦ [it is] the abservable artifact of a political level decision. It is not the decision, but a product of the decision† (Neack, 2003, p. 25) There are a lot of approaches that can be applied in making decision for foreign policy. According to Slantchev, â€Å"the rational actor model treats foreign policy choices as products of the following idealized sequence. Given some problem, a rational decision maker takes into account the foreign policy goals of the nation and determines which ones take priority over others.† (Slantchev, April 19, 2005) From this context we know that the actor which is rationality have to come over the decision making to achieve their goals in term of foreign policy. By the way, according to Slantchev, â€Å"To recapitulate, the rational actor model hypothesizes that people are rational in the sense that they choose actions that somehow help them achieve their goals. This may not look controversial. However, one may well wonder about the ability of the actors to relate means to ends in an effective way. This is the individual limitation critique† (Slantchev, April 19, 2005). Besides that, the rational actor had some critique in term of doing their approach of foreign policy decision making. Yet, somehow the issues came out by the actor was do not have control over the implementation in their decision making. Ever since I was a small adolescent, I have been surrounded by sports and competition and I believe it has shaped me to who I am today. Growing up, my mom always made me focus on my academics while my dad made me focus on sports, which led to conflict between my parents deciding what aspect of life was more important. Trying to balance both academics and sports and trying to please both of my parents was very difficult, but I managed it pretty well until my junior year in high school, where my athletics increased and my grades decreased, which is not what I wanted. I found out that the senior leadership has displayed sufficient planning skills when dealing with new projects and the team members. I also learned from the online forums and different kinds of videos. I was engaged in face to face interview with key industry people who gave me in-depth idea regarding the planning and coordinating task. I implemented the planning as well as coordination activities in my team. I implemented the learning in practice so that the organizational efficiency can be achieved. I engaged in detailed planning of the operational processes and planning regarding the human resources requirement. I learnt that I need to coordinate with the team so that my ideas are effectively communicated to others (Crawford and Lepine 2013). I engaged in clear communication with my team mates, which helped me to share ideas as well as inform about the status of the projects. I also implemented organizational polices which focus on coordinating with the team members so that the task is implemented in the best possible manner. The coordination should be done between the key stakeholders who would satisfy the organizational objectives (Crilly and Sloan 2013). The outcome of the internal process management competency of planning and coordination has led to increased productivity in the organization. The increased planning and the coordination activities would lead to the improvement of the team bonding and the increased retention in the organization. This competency would also help the organization to fulfill the organizational goals. It would lead to greater communication among the team, reducing the number of conflicts, customer orientation and the leadership capabilities. Conclusion I have focused on improving the internal process management competencies. I have focused on displaying the planning as well as coordination activities in the organization. I have also found excellent results after I have implemented this competency in the organization. It can be concluded that it is important to identify, develop, implement and evaluate the management competencies needed in the internal process management.
